In this episode of Walt Right Perspectives I talk to Hunter Wallace, an old comrade from my Alt Right days who runs the pro-White blog Occidental Dissent.
Several months ago Hunter and I exchanged in a back-and-forth over my attempt to revive the “Alt Right” label, and I left this conversation feeling he and I were largely aligned in goals / outlook but had separate focuses due to temperamental differences.
But after this convo I’m convinced our temperaments are almost identical—it’s honestly fascinating how many things we have in common. We both have a history actively soliciting discussion with ideologues from different worldviews. He met his wife through WN in the same way I met my first girlfriend. And we’re both very introspective about how different generations understand the movement.
